Ten Steps to Successfully Having a Ten Figure Income
Seeing Yourself In Billionaire Status
Currently in the United States there are about 3 million millionaires. That is equivalent to about 1% of the entire population. So, statistically speaking 1 out of every 100 Americans is a millionaire. Could you be one of the coveted 1%?
Can you picture yourself in that 1%? Now pictures that there are approximately 360 billionaires in the United States.
The amount of people who are joining the class of super rich is growing daily. Once you become a millionaire you are only three orders of magnitude (1,000) to becoming a billionaire. So the difference in a millionaire and a billionaire is 1,000 million dollar sums of money.
Can you see yourself in that number? Basically, there are ten steps to achieving a ten-figure income. How many are already in your life? How many areas still need work?
Clear Vision
No one achieves success unless they have a dream or vision firmly implanted in their minds eyes. It is the first step to making your goal a reality. If you have no dream or vision than you are truly unmotivated at the deepest sense and will not become any more than you already are.
Make your dream seem real in your head, keep the vision of what you want at the forefront of your mind at all times, take the steps necessary to make your dream a reality.
So simple. So true. So important. Yet too many people walk through life with no vision at all. How can they ever have their dreams come true?
Dont let that be said of you ” that you have no dream; no vision. Write your vision; articulate your vision; embrace your vision; follow your vision. If you are on your way to becoming a billionaire, the first step is to have your vision well established.
Ask Yourself the Right Questions
You have to know why you want to be super rich. Not for the obvious things like material possessions but for the other reasons that you want to earn and live a wealthy life.
Make sure your why is bigger than you are (bigger than your mere wants). Once you get up past the six-figure level (monthly or yearly, either one) and move ever higher, believe it or not, things will begin to bore you. There must be a higher calling that compels you to keep moving ever upward. Locate your why!
3. Mentors
You do not have to be a pioneer. There are tons of people who have done this before you and they have a lot of lessons in their experience.
You can learn from their coaching, their books or other means. Let them be the pioneer and you can reap the benefits of their knowing.
4. Locate an Income Vehicle That Can Produce 100K per Month
Lets face it; you arent going to get rich selling $15 and $20 items. You need to find a means to making money that produces a big price tag and is a coveted tool that people will want.
Remember you are trying to make a million dollars, not an extra thousand a month. Marketing small ticket items is like digging a pond with a shovel. Big ticket items will give you the earth mover you need to dig your pond out effectively and quickly.
Outsource When You Can
Nobody needs the headaches of hundreds of employees. You can create leverage by creating a network of people that will essentially be working for your efforts but not for you.
This is such a true statement that it almost goes without saying. The sad thing is, so few people will walk this out in their lifetime.
Many of the network marketing opportunities available today offer individuals an amazing amount of leverage by using the efforts of many others. This must be included in your steps to earning a ten-figure income.
6. Invest Wisely; Invest Like the Wealthy; Get Out of Debt
The rich stay rich because they know what to do with the money they have. Middle class people work hard for every cent of their money while the wealthy make their money do all the hard work. You wont get rich paying interest or being in debt.
Think about it, the wealthy know how to get paid interest on their money. Find a reasonable, steady investment that offers consistent rates of return and low risk. Learn from the wealthy how to put your money to work for you and mimic their behaviors to be successful.
7. Healthy Person Wealthy Person
Lets take another quote from J. Paul Getty The individual who wants to reach the top in business must appreciate the might and force of habit. He must be quick to break those habits that can break him- and hasten to adopt those practices that will become the habits that help him achieve the success he desires.
The truth remains that you can’t live one part of your life in health, wealth and goodness and forego in other areas. Eating right, working out and taking care of yourself and living a healthy life will impact your body and mind. This will spill over to all areas of your life.
Your body is your friend. Treat it at least as well as you do your vehicle. (Would you put sugar in the gas tank of your car?) Your brain is also your friend ” feed it more good news than bad.
Except Only Excellence
No one is perfect or is expected to be perfect. But you should always strive for excellence and no less. Even if you miss the mark you are at least striving for the best you can be. The excellence spills over to all aspects of your life, physical, mental and emotional.
Pursue your dreams with all your heart. And give it your best. Pursue excellence with as much discipline as a champion athlete. It will pay off!
9. Dream; Envision; Meditate
This step is similar to Step#1. While the utmost importance of course is always to have a dream (noun) you must never forget to dream (verb) as well. Using imagery tools to keep the dream in close proximity is an effective means of helping to make it happen.
Some people use a dream board, or a goal map to help envision exactly what it is they want their future to look like. Some list goals on 3X5 cards and review them daily. Still others write out (in present tense) what their life will be like in the future (as though they were already living out their dream). T. Harv Eker (Secrets of the Millionaire Mind) says whatever you focus on, expands So stop spending time focusing on what you dont want! Focus on what you want!
10. Quitters Never Win
Failure is not failure until you quit. Only when you throw in the towel and quit will you ever fail. Falling short of a goal is not failing. (Hey, you started, didnt you?) Changing direction is not failing. Errors in judgment is not failing. Making honest mistakes is not failing. Failure is never a lack of success. It is simply staying down after you trip or stumble. Failure is giving up and wimping out when you think the going is too tough, or when you let negative thoughts tell you cant make it.
Keep your thoughts positive and always keep on trying. As long as you do that, you are never a failure. Failure is not about making mistakes, failure is about quitting!
Remember that whatever you can believe and conceive you can achieve!
